Flipping Properties

 The real estate market has changed drastically within the last decade, especially within the last few years. Home values were skyrocketing and sales and construction were hot before the bubble burst and the market crashed. Now, foreclosures dominate the inventory, home owners trying to sell see their homes remain stagnant on the market for months and construction has slowly dwindled. 

With the chance in the market, real estate investors had to change their own strategies as well. As with all things, when drastic changes occur, others must be made to reflect that. 

Flipping properties, once a popular investing strategy, is now made a little more difficult with the over flood of homes on the market, both foreclosures and FSBO's. While some investors are still flipping homes, it's not as popular a practice as before. Investors who flip homes need to have realistic expectations and goals.
